Depending on whether you think web design is art, Adam is or is not a Flatbush Artist. (Personally, I'm not sure, but I tend toward thinking it is not "artistic" although it is creative at times.) When he's not working, he sometimes does web designs, such as this website and that of Hungry Cat Cafe Jewelry, a work in progress. He can design your website also! This page is a bit of freeloading advertising for his services snuck in while he was designing this website. He wouldn't do that to your project. He has also done some web programming, including a short survey for Dr. CJ Segal-Isaacson for diet research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

With much experience from his long career in publishing and electronic publishing, Adam is also available for publishing-related tasks, such as proofreading, copyediting, and writing. As a copyeditor, he has worked with several people in the preparation of their doctoral dissertations, spent ten years as chief copyeditor and production editor for the American Journal of Hypertension, and edited other publications such as Contraception, The Nurse Practitioner Journal, and other scientific journals. He has also written articles for scientific and popular audiences on a variety of topics, including treatments for multiple sclerosis, nursing politics, genetically modified food, and nutrition research (including papers published in Obesity Research and The Nurse Practitioner). For several years he was also the managing editor and chief writer for NP News (now sadly defunct). He also prepares data for the National Library of Medicine on behalf of two Mexican medical journals. He has worked with material from a variety of disciplines, including education, chemistry, physics, medicine, and health care. He was also integrally involved in the testing, preparation, and launch of Elsevier's health sciences web platform, www.journals.elsevierhealth.com and is currently involved in quality control of the data presented there.
