Arturo Garcia was born in Mexico in 1977. He grew up between Mexico and Spain. After graduating with honors from The National School of Plastic Arts"San Carlos" in Mexico City, Arturo began his career exhibiting in Mexico under the support and guidance of the celebrated Mexican author, Carlos Monsivais. Arturo moved to California in 2000 and to New York City in 2004, with a determined desire to perfect his painting technique. In Manhattan he became affiliated with famed "The Water Street Atelier" and blossomed as painter under the mentorship of Jacob Collins. Arturo Garcia has now turned all his focus and considerable talent to creating Realist art. His meticulous technique and keen eye have already captured the attention of many collectors. Almost immediately after Arturo's first exhibit in the USA, art collectors recognized the value and uniqueness of his work. Adept at figurative, landscape, and still life, his paintings are unique and beautifully designed. Collectors would be well advised to keep a close watch on this genuine talent.
